Average UK house price leaps 10.9% in April to hit £183,577 – the fastest growth since 2007, says Nationwide


A 10.9 per cent jump in house prices year on year in April marks the first time since 2010 that annual grow has reached double figures.

Alex Gosling managing director of Housesimple.co.uk said the continued increases in prices has many causes;

‘Consumer confidence is back with a vengeance, buoyed by a stronger economy and improving jobs market,’
